I came to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in May 2000.  I began work as the administrative assistant to Angela Haigler, Assistant Dean of Students for SAFE and Women’s Programs.  In 2002 I also became the administrative assistant to the Assistant Dean of Students for Volunteer Services and Off-Campus Student Services. 

I grew up in Greenville, NC and worked at the East Carolina University School of Nursing.  I moved to the Charlotte area in January 2000 to be closer to my family, who had all moved to this area.

In my job, I love working with my colleagues and the students.  The people I deal with make this job enjoyable and interesting.  Outside of my job, I love reading, traveling and going to plays and movies.
