About the Office of Volunteer
Services
With contacts at over
250 local service agencies the Volunteer Services staff can connect
students, faculty and staff or organizations to a variety of places
to serve in the Charlotte community that address a spectrum of
social issues.
Throughout the year,
Volunteer Services sponsors a wide range of service projects that
enable students, faculty and staff to make a difference. These
events and programs strengthen the relationship between the
University of North Carolina at Charlotte and the local community,
help raise awareness of crucial social concerns, and encourage
students, faculty, and staff to have fun while serving others.
