Dr.
Wiese earned an Associates Degree in Computer Science and Pre-Engineering
from Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield, Illinois - his hometown.
He achieved both his bachelors and masters in History from Illinois State
University in Normal, Illinois. While working full-time as the
Director of First Year Programs at Clemson University in Clemson, South
Carolina, he achieved his Ph.D. in Educational Leadership.
Dr.
Wiese most recently served as a visiting professor for Educational
Leadership at Clemson after working at the university in administration for
six years. He maintains an active research agenda in the areas of
student spirituality and attributes of academically high achieving students.
He arrived at UNC Charlotte in August 2008 bringing 10 years of experience
working in orientation, transition, and freshmen programs. |
