Welcome to Niner Nation!
I
grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and moved to Tampa, FL where I attended the
University of Tampa and earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Communication. From
there, I moved to Columbia, SC where I earned my Master’s Degree in Higher
Education and Student Affairs. Prior to coming to UNC Charlotte, I worked
at Pasco-Hernando Community College in Dade City, FL.
I
came to UNC Charlotte in November of 2007 and am very proud and excited to
be here. My role here allows me the opportunity to work with Transfer
students and help each student and their families have a great transition to
the university. That role includes developing new ways to reach out to
Transfer students prior to orientation and to develop new programs that will
enhance the experience of all of our Transfer students. Those programs
including the addition of Transfer Orientation Counselors and Tau Sigma, the
National Honor Society for Transfer Students. In addition, I am proud to be
an advocate for the students here at UNC Charlotte.
I
am very fortunate to work with a great team of colleagues who are passionate
about helping students get the most out of their UNC Charlotte experience. Welcome
to Niner Nation and I look forward to seeing you at orientation! |
