I
was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad, but grew up in Brooklyn, New York.
I received my Bachelor’s degree from SUNY College at Brockport in Political
Science and Afro-African American Studies and my Master’s degree Western
Illinois University in College Student Personnel.
I
currently work as the
Assistant
Director for
Minority Student Support & Women's
Programs I am also an adjunct faculty in the
Women’s Studies Department at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte.
Before coming to UNC Charlotte, I worked at University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign in the Office of Residence Life, George Washington
University, in the Community Living and Learning Center, and Worcester
Polytechnic Institute in the Office of Multicultural Affairs.
I
am extremely excited about the many opportunities to work in student
centered environment and proud to be a part of the Niner Nation experience. |
