SAFE VOYAGE is a pre-orientation program for students participating
in SAFE. If you participate in the SAFE Voyage experience, you will
be allowed to check into your residence hall early, learn to
navigate UNC Charlotte’s campus, connect with students and faculty,
and explore the many student organizations and departments available
to you on campus. If you participate in SAFE Voyage you will
automatically be enrolled in the SAFE Program and be assigned a peer
mentor throughout your first year of college. First year students
are matched with upper-class students who will serve, not only as a
mentor, but as a confidant, and friend. The SAFE Program is one of
the best retention tools at UNC Charlotte.

and ends Sunday August 23

WHO SHOULD COME TO SAFE VOYAGE?

ALL FIRST YEAR STUDENTS!

If you attended Summer SOAR, you should still plan to
attend SAFE VOYAGE.
·
If you did not attend Summer SOAR, you still need to
attend Fall SOAR and you do not want to miss SAFE VOYAGE. You will
receive information about Fall SOAR in mid-July.
WHAT IF I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT ATTEND SAFE
VOYAGE?

If you cannot attend SAFE VOYAGE, we still invite you
to be a member of SAFE. Complete the student application
